Neptune Engineering Chooses Sodick for Medical Mouldmaking

Neptune Engineering has recently invested in the latest Sodick wire and die sink technology, with an AD30L and a VZ300L reducing both lead-times and costs. The company’s medical sector customers are among those set to benefit – medical work accounts for the largest proportion of business at Neptune, commanding around a third of total business revenue.

The new Sodick machines are located side-by-side in the company’s well-equipped toolroom where both prototype tooling and fully hardened tools are produced. The company’s expertise encompasses everything from single impression moulds, and small, quick-change modular tooling, through to complex, multi-impression hot runner moulds up to 2 tonnes in weight.
