Belfast-based Crossen Engineering is increasing its aerospace capability with the latest Sodick AQ600L wire EDM from Sodi-Tech.
Second Tier subcontractor Crossen serves both civil and military aerospace programmes, producing pressed components, moulded parts, and precision machined components for the sector. The new Sodick AQ600L is currently manufacturing tool punches and dies to produce parts for a variety of legacy, current and future aircraft programmes.
“We understand the aerospace market and believe we have the manufacturing and service portfolio to match industry demands,” says MD, Paul Crossen. “While price is obviously important, quality and speed of turnaround are also priorities for our aerospace customers. We have an excellent performance record for short lead-time projects and installing technology such as the Sodick AQ600L can only help in this regard.”
